BBC Archive Project – The Genesis of Doctor Who
“Here, we tell the story of the creation of ‘Doctor Who’ from the very beginning, starting with a report on the possibility of making science fiction for television and leading up to the moment a new drama series is announced in the pages of ‘Radio Times’.”
This is pretty cool. They have images, background notes, concept notes and other material from the very earliest days of Doctor Who. They also have a large assortment of video clips at Doctor Who:The Classic Series.
