Looks like the world’s been born on one more rainy day…
I am out of coffee. I sense a huge disturbance in the Force.
We finally found my giant spoon and fork and hung them in what for most people would be a breakfast room but Kahuna and I refer to as the ‘coffee bar’. They frame a wood and metal bakers rack that holds the coffee pot, cracker jars of coffee, mugs and various other supplies. It is a lot for people who only drink one cup a day but I really enjoy that one cup. Now the spoon and fork are mocking me.
Added a link to a stream of Sweet Saint Me on Suburban Home Records in the Two Cow Garage review post. If you haven’t had a chance to listen to the album you should check it out.
For the person who asked, I am working on the Opera problem but I think it is going to be a “theme” issue rather than a wordpress or host provider issue. The only thing I have in Opera is the Wii and getting access to it in my house is not the easiest of tasks. Maybe when Scooter has her nap this afternoon. I am using an older theme and I suspect it doesn’t support Opera. This is not a huge problem as I have been looking a changing themes for a few weeks now. I just keep hitting road blocks. The Artisteer themes I made all break formatting when I try to use them. (Yes, I am a annoyed) I have found a couple of themes from the wordpress.org site I like but after the total crashing, smashing, destruction of my blog the last time I tried a theme change I am a little hesitant to risk chaos again. But, if the blog looks different or odd (well odd to anyone not using Opera – grin) it is just me bravely trying out new themes.

I have been trying to write the review for Blurred, by San Francisco singer/songwriter Alex Wise for a few months now but can’t seem to finish it. This is difficult for me to say but I get about halfway through the process and find myself so homesick I just can’t continue. The past few years have been full [...]
Now that Scooter is back sleeping nights I proclaim this ’dig myself out from under the mountain of un-reviewed music‘ week. Kicking off the week o’reviewing is Arc & Stones, the debut EP from Brooklyn band Arc & Stones. The guys are Dan Pellarin (vocals), Ben Cramer (guitar), Joe Doino (drums) and Eddy Bayes (bass). I had [...]
So, I was in the mood for some blues and whoosh – blues appeared. Other people get coupons, bills and news updates in the mail while I get blues music. Cool new blues music in the form of the debut release Telegraph Taboo from the Chicago-based band Nick and the Ovorols. This is not a pretty album. The vocals on a few tracks [...]
